Online score reporting is free through the parent's SSAT account, enabling you to review your child's scores, select school and consultant score recipients, and cancel score-sending requests (cancelations must be made prior to score release).
The following add-on score services are available when registering for the SSAT or afterward through the parent's SSAT account. Please note that these aren't rush scoring services; all add-on notification services follow the standard release schedule.
To order add-on services after SSAT registration, click the plus icon shown in the screenshot to access them.
Receive a paper copy of your child's SSAT score report mailed to your home address—score reports cannot be mailed to schools. Please allow additional time for delivery.
Receive a paper copy of your child's SSAT score report via FedEx to your home address—score reports cannot be sent via FedEx to schools. Please allow additional time for delivery.
Get an instant notification via text or email the moment when your child's SSAT score report is released. The communication will include basic score information and you'll know to access the full report in your online account. This is not a rush scoring service; scores will still be released on the common release date.
SSAT writing samples are only released to score-recipient schools by default. This service enables parents to receive a copy of your child's SSAT writing sample within your SSAT account. Please note that writing samples aren't available for the Elementary Level SSAT.
If you're concerned about the accuracy of computerized scoring due to the possibility of your student mis-bubbling an answer, this service will provide a manual review of your child's score sheet. Please know that manual reviews rarely result in score changes.
The SSAT is an undisclosed test so this service won't provide the actual questions or answers. If hand scoring results in a scoring change, the revised results are added to your account and those of all requested score recipients, and all parties are notified. If no change occurs, you will receive a notification letter.
Please allow up to one month for hand-scoring results. The hand-scoring request deadline of August 31 is thirty days after the conclusion of the preceding testing year from August 1 and July 31. Hand scoring is not available for SSAT at Home or Prometric testing.
If an incorrect grade level was selected on the Middle or Upper Level SSAT, this service allows for re-scoring to better reflect your child's abilities. Please allow up to two weeks for rescoring. Updated scores will be made available to the family and all score recipients, and all parties will be notified. Tests may only be rescored within the academic testing year in which they were taken (August 1 - July 31).
