Inclement Weather - Instructions for 2/6/10 Test Cancellations
If your test center is OPEN for the 2/6 test: you should report to the test as scheduled. If you choose to not test, you should complete a Test Change Request Form at www.ssat.org/ordertestchange
If you are registered at a test center that has cancelled the 2/6 test due to inclement weather: you should report to the test site on the rescheduled date posted. Testing will begin at 9 am (unless otherwise noted) and follows the same guidelines listed on your original admission ticket. You do not need to contact SSAT prior to the rescheduled test date.
If you would like to test at a nearby test center that is open for 2/6: you may report to the alternate center, but please be aware that seating is NOT guaranteed. All testers who are already registered for that test site, including standby registrants, will be seated first (as space allows) before students who are there from a cancelled test site.
If you are not able to attend the rescheduled test date you may choose an alternate test date/location. The test date may be a Flex Test date or a National Test on a later date (ie: 3/6/10); you may not transfer to any of the other "rescheduled" dates from the 2/6 test. To reschedule your test as described, SSAT MUST receive a change request in writing (email preferred). You will NOT be charged for the $35 change fee in this case. The deadline for SSAT to receive your test change request is 02/12/10.
Test Cancellation
If you decide not to test and wish to cancel your SSAT registration, please contact SSAT prior to the test date. You may not cancel your test online. Please be aware that refunds are not available for cancelled tests or related fees, nor may a registration be transferred to a different student. However, you may reschedule your registration to a future test date (change fee applies).
To cancel your registration without rescheduling, please submit a test cancellation form at www.ssat.org/ordercancel
