Test Day Checklist

Don’t forget:
• Your SSAT Admission Ticket
• Sharpened #2 pencils
• A good eraser

Listen carefully to the instructions read by the test supervisor and follow directions in the test book.

Remember to mark your current grade level, not the grade you will enter next year, on your answer sheet.

No books, papers, calculators, beepers, phones, or alarm watches are permitted in the test room. No visitors are allowed in the test room.

All test materials will be collected at the end of the test and may not be taken from the room. The SSAT is not a disclosed test.

Test Time:
Testing normally begins at 9:00 a.m.
Check your admission ticket for exact time.
Plan to arrive at the test by 8:15 to ensure proper check-in, especially if you are a standby tester.

Test dismissal is normally between 12 noon and 12:30 pm.
Be sure someone can meet you at that time, as test supervisors are not responsible for remaining at the center after the test ends. At large centers, testing may start later than 9 a.m. and dismissal may be delayed.
