Admission Application for Independent Boarding and Day Schools

A shared application has been designed to simplify the admission process for student applicants and the teachers who must complete recommendations.

The standard Admission Application includes:

• Student Information Form
• Student Questionnaire
• Parent Statement
• Teacher Recommendation Forms (English, Math, School Head/Counselor)
• Academic Record.

Students or teachers complete these forms only once and then submit copies to all schools to which they are applying.

Standard Application Online

Most SSAT member schools currently accept the the Standard Application Online (SAO). SSAT registrants can complete the standard admission application online through this website and submit copies to schools via a secure web server. The application “package” of test scores, writing sample, application, and recommendations will be sent to each designated school with that school’s application fee, collected by credit card at the time of application. SSAT registrants pay no additional fee for using this service.
